I can't find her - but if she was living in the Whitecross St area of London, the images are very faint and some parts are missing.

      Hi Nell
Wherabouts is the Whitecross St. area?

I think she may have been living in the St Pancras or Marylebone areas.

Whitecross Street and surrounding area in St Lukes Old Street and its north east of Holborn. Whitecross Street still exisits but its east of the area you want.

        Do you have any addresses?

In 1851 it looks like MILLMER STREET Finsbury

by 1871 she is living with married daughter FRANCES (PRITCHARD) in WAYLAND ROAD Battersea

Now, Finsbury is just next door to St Lukes, so why do you think she should be in Marylebone/St Pancras?

I wonder if this one might be a possibility?

                    RG9; Piece: 246; Folio: 114; Page: 12

Sarah's age is 10 years out, but she's shown as born at St. George's, which is the place where she was living in 1841.

Son Charles is the right age, born in Marylebone.

                      Thanks Mary

Sorry but I fell asleep last night and didn't reply!

I think this must be her - even though the writing is for once very clear, I feel that a mistake has been made making Sarah a lot younger!

                      Thanks for finding it.

There's also a William Beck living with a wife in Shoreditch, who's probably Sarah's other son - I forgot to make a note of the reference last night, but you should find him easily.

                          Hi again Mary

I found William & wife in Shoreditch, thanks.

Hopefully have all the family more or less now.

                          Thanks again
