  • Cute babies thread!

Here's a place to post your family history baby pictures!!!

This is the most frustrating picture in my collection :( I feel as if I know the lady as well as my own mother, I have looked at it so often. Her face is really familiar, but I don't know who she is.

Anyway, I presume the man is her husband and the cutie is their child

If we all stare hard, together, could we come up with some names?

    Any ideas on date?

Was there a time that hairstyle (the baby's) was fashionable?! lol

I love that baby, but I still think they are three generations, the man and woman just have similar smiles. Reckon junior is a wee boy, and that sash would have been blue....;)

The sleeving on the female would indicate a date line of between 1893 and 1897 whilst the photographer, Ebenezer Pannell, traded from 49 St Georges Road Brighton between the years of 1889 and 1905.

Thanks Don, that could be really useful!

Georgette.....She is the spit of my great-grandmother and her children......I think maybe she is one of my g-granny's first cousins.

                :(

Any opinions on the ages of mum and graddad?

Why (btw) did my Bristol and Somerset rellies all have their photos taken in Brighton? Holidays??

Merry, that bloke looks like someone off Stargate SG1 lol

I was gonna add Benjamin's pic here, as he is a very cute baby... perhaps he's too young though? lol

Thanks Chrissie, I think the children are adorable and I love the boy's outfit.

The girl is the bride from the Calcutta wedding on the Fave Weddings thread!

Here is the mother as a child in 1880 - not a very clear pic I'm afraid.
