Master Sources on FTM 2006

I've recently changed pc's and re-installed my FTM 2006 onto the new one.

I have my main tree which seems fine so far. I also have a couple of others on different names and I've just noticed that the Master Sources has nothing in the drop down menu.

If I open a new tree it still doesn't show any master source options - the menu drops down but it has nothing on it.

Can anyone help please. Have I not done something I should have ?

If you start a new tree then the Master Source drop down box will be blank.
You will need to set up a new set of Master Sources -
EDIT / EDIT MASTER SOURCE / click NEW / enter title of source

Thanks Elaine. It's not a problem to add sources as I go but on my original tree the master sources menu gave a long list of options to choose from. I thought I'd done something wrong when it didn't appear.

Are you confusing Master sources with Facts.
When you install FTM then there are no Master Sources available - you add them yourself.
However, there is a long list of FACTS pre-entered ready for use.

Probably me getting confused Elaine. It doesn't take much these days....lol

I think the master sources list comes from when you enter them Joan. It just keeps adding them every time and then offers them to you when you add a source.
