Help Finding birth please

Could anyone tell me how to go about tracing a birth in 1968 please, i have never had to look for one this recent before and have no idea.

If you have ancestry, you can just trawl the index, as long as you know the name, it shouldn't be too hard, unless the name is Smith

I have tried that Lynn, it seems to only go up to about 1921.. thats the bmd bit.

You have to look at the full indexes, which you can only do if you subscribe.
