  • Too late for OC's thread about Hugh Wallis site!!

I added to OC's strange :D thread because there seems to be some doubt about Hugh Wallis' site. According to my favourites page the site was last updated 23 July 2007. For example:

Well, I think - & said before it went! - that the problem was Cattanach. That works on a search, but Cattenach (which ought to be a variant) doesn't.

Don't worry - I have given up being a researcher in any form whatsoever since about lunchtime today!

Decided to take up knitting instead - squares.

Sorry, went away for a while! Here is the page I have on my favourites. The top half is individual batch number links updated in 2002 but further down is the counties updated in 2007. I was surprised when I noticed it quite recently (LOL obviously after 23 July 2007 anyway!)

That's interesting. Wonder who is doing the additions (and why the Home Page hasn't been changed to reflect the fact)

                      OC,

Hugh Wallis is alive and well, as far as I know. Among other things, he's the OPC for Stoke Damerel in Devon.
