Are the two Caroline Adams that appear in 1851 on Ancestry completely out of the question?
i don't have full Ancestry sub, so can only do correct searches. I don't know of a Bow in Surrey, so assume that that info has somehow slipped in from another line or is a mistranscription. Where is Jane Adams born?

There are a couple of possibilities in 1851 - I was hoping I might find her in 1841 with both parents!

Jane Adams is born in the same place as Caroline, although rechecking the image again I am not so convinced it is Bow - but not sure what it is!

Because the older censuses show the original counties and not just "London", I often have trouble finding places which require the County to be specified. Was Bow in Surrey, and not in Middx? Or should that say "Boro"?

And that age for Caroline in 1861 should be 29 not 22.

Not sure! Not even sure it says Bow!
Yes Caroline was 29 in 1861 census - sorry typing error which I have now amended!

How about this for Caroline in 1841:

                Class: HO107; Piece 1063; Book: 4 Folio: ; Page: 11

                There's a head = Thomas
                and a younger sister, Jane.

and PS - Thomas is a Shoe M(aker)

Boro' ie Southwark would make much more sense. But all sorts of different birthplaces might be given for the same area.

Can't seem to track down any of the Adams family in 1851 at the moment. they're probably radically mistranscribed - or I've missed something obvious.
