  • OpenOffice.org - Templates

Try this link for sample OpenOffice.org templates:

    http://documentation.openoffice.org/Samples_Templates/User/template/index.html

I've not used the templates at the link but they may help you.

You will probably have to do some modifications to the templates so that they meet your requirements.

Note: More templates are available but I was unable to show them all on my screen print.

If you have problems running macros in OpenOffice then you can do the following:
    • Click on "Tools" in the menu bar.
    • Select "Options" from the drop down list.
    • Click on the <Macro Security...> button.

You can then set the Macro Security to your desired level.

    WARNING !!
Macros can contain viruses so beware when running macros from untrusted sources.

Many thanks John, I had used the top link as above to do the invoice - I was so tired after trying last night and then being told by hubby he didnt like the invoice I produced :(

Ill have a look at these alternatives later today - its very kind of you to go to such a lot of trouble, I do appreciate it. When I went to close puter last night after all the faffing about with the Open office stuff, I had some message jump up saying an illegal exception or something :( but today all seems ok.

Hi Heather, It shouldn't be too difficult to create your own template if your OH isn't keen on the sample you used.

                    John,

Thanks for the template references. I have just downloaded Open Office 3 In the fullness of time (where did that phrase come from?) I will try some of the templates.

My main interest is to become as familiar with Base as I was with MS Access.
