Trying to be a bit charitable to the contributor/perpetrator, I have noticed similar manglings in the IGI when trawling through a mix of extracted and submitted entries. I think there may have been some mangling of data fields when the IGI database software has been updated at some stage. If you look carefully, most of these wonderful names are actually real names/places run together. Perhaps one of our many database whizzos may have a thought on this.Uncle John - Passed away March 2020

Well this one "Boughtonorfolk" is probably Boughton, Norfolk... a bit to the East of Downham Market.

What makes me slightly cross about this - it has no named source, other than "a book".
Which book, when and where?
I do know that some of the submitted stuff on IGI is very old - over 100 years since it was submitted, maybe more, and therefore pre computer days.
But you would have though that when they transferred all their stuff to computer, they would have given it some sort of title, even if it was simply "documents of unknown provenance".
