yesterday I was able to find a few death dates for some of my rellies so if I up load my gedcom now would it produce a few more names to your data base?

It depends on the DOB, try searching for some of the names and see if they appear before you upload the new details. They will certainly appear after the updated details are uploaded.http://www.flickr.com/photos/50125734@N06/
