my Aunt Hilda died and it was only on her death that I discovered her name was Catherine - although Uncle John Called her 'Kate' all his days. He was the only person EVER to call her Kate.
How one gets from Catherine to Hilda is beyond me!
I am trying to find the marriage of a THomas Truslove ( variations aplenty on surname spelling) b1834, Sawbridge warwickshire, to a lady called Martha, born roughly 1851 Kings Norton Worcestershire.
Now i have no idea where i got the martha from.. i did this branch a couple of years ago and my memory is rubbish... but i must have got her from somewhere!

George Truslove 12

Martha Truslove 49
William Truslove 20
oh i give up.. i just looked again and cant find them together.. only martha truslove in 1881 as a servant, birth Staffordshire, and in 1891 head of household, birth kings norton.. :(
Possibly Thomas' death, Thomas Truslove, Mar 1882, Dudley, 6c, 44
I'm wondering about a marriage found in Dec 1865 for a Thomas Truslow to a Martha Quiney, Birmingham, 6d, 129. One of the Childrens birth certificates would give mothers name to see if it is the right marriage.
