  • Twig gone to Mars on 1861??

Wonder if anyone can see this missing lot on the 1861 please?

The JACKSON family - Amos & Christiana (nee Coultas), with children Robert, Sarah Jane and Elizabeth are:-
    1851 HO107/2368/788/9 and
    1871 RG10/4815/78/18

I've found Robert on the 1861 (RG9/3612/18/8) but none of the others.

its sarah that is playing hard to get! she'd be , what 13 ish? bit young to have married

Interesingly b/P's Stixton turns to ''Strickston''

              anyone know which is right?

LOL Jess, Sarah's playing hard to get for me too. BTW, neither is right - it's Staxton.

UPDATE - and I can't see an obvious death 1851 to 1861 for her in east or north yorkshire onfreebmd.

Just to add to the Jane Jackson I found (The is a Jane Jackson in 1861 born 1848 Staxton Niece to John Jackson who is also a Tailor - RG9; Piece: 3638; Folio: 61; Page: 2)

John Jackson - Head born 1821 Stonegrave, quite close match to Amos

Vikki - just seen your bit about Jane being an 1861 niece - that could be her - I've not gone backwards/sideways on Amos yet - that's the next job. Jools

John is the son of Robert and Sarah Jackson (1851) if that helps, Living in Stonegrave, Ocupation Tailor

Edit - Just checked the 1841 and found Amos living with Robert and Sarah in 1841
