  • Could someone work out this family for me please

Sorry i have got myself confused.
    1901 RG13; Piece: 1348; Folio: 10; Page: 42.

John Brandon, he married a lady called Jane.
From the 1891 census i can see they had 2 children Emma and Bertie.
John is here with his sone Bert but who are the rest i just can't work it out think my brain is to much in christmas mode.!!

John is the brother in law of Robert Collier who is head of the household.

Bert, Flow and Lilian Brandon are nephew and nieces of Robert's.

Presumably they are John Brandon's children.

    Joe Collier is Robert's brother

can't get any further as Ancestry's seized up !

The bit that gets me is Lilian she is older than John so can't be his child will go and find out where she comes into it. thankyou confused me because of Lilians age.

I know the census and the actual image says Lilian but is there any possibility it could mean Louisa as it is the same age and place of birth as Johns step mum it's the only person i can think of it being.

Hi Jen, I think Lilian is only 7, not 51 as transcribed.

I think the image has Lilian's age as 7

It is a bit misleading with that squiggle at the front, but she is after 'Flow' (like the spelling ) so would be younger

Jane was actually called Sarah Jane i looked back on the census for Robert and found a Sarah J so i looked for a Sarah J marriage and found Sarah Jane marrying John Brandon.
