Thank you to everyone who has helped me crack the Welsh side of my family.
Wondered if you could find (which I can't) this family in 1891 census. Have tried using the children's names.
1901 Census:
James Hart b1867 Cardiff Head - Coal Trimmer
Spouse: Mary 36 b1865 Cardiff
Household:
Catherine b1892
Julia b1889
Mary E b1888
Theresa b1896
Winifred b1898 (all children are scholars and born in Cardiff)
Address: 74 Railway View, Splott.
Civil parish: Roath Ecc parish: Roath St Saviour
Reg district: Cardiff Sub-reg district: East Cardiff
James and Mary married in 1886 Cardiff:
JAMES HART and MARY JOSEPHINE DRISCOLL
He was a Coal Foreman living at 5 Prince Leopold Street, Roath, Cardiff.
She was living at 28 Ivor St, Cardiff.
There were lots of Harts and Driscolls all with similar first names in that part of Cardiff.
I have checked the England 1891 census but not there...at least I can't find them.
Won't be back on till tonight. Many thanks for another pair of eyes. I think they were probably away... Thanks. Liz
