  • Unknown female Wigmore born 8th April 1875. What happened to her?

My Gt Grandfather's sister Mary Brady married a John Wigmore in 1872 Dublin He was a Shoesmith of Portobello Barracks, Father James Wigmore a Smith
John Wigmore died probably in Newcastle Ireland 1936 at least that's only Death that has no 'image' available to view.

Unknown Wigmore (female) born 8th April 1875 at Rotunda Hospital Dublin.
Father: John Wigmore, Horse Shoer of 5 Doyles Lane Mother: Mary Brady
I can't find a death for her in Dublin. So one assumes she either married or was brought up by one of her Wigmore relatives.

Mary Wigmore nee Brady then married on 26 May 1876 in Dublin to Arthur Kershaw full age, Bachelor, Labourer of Castlweood Avenue.
    Father Arthur Kershaw, GARDENER
Although my Brady family were RC, Mary married in a COI Church for both marriages.

I've found 8 Children for Arthur Kershaw & Mary Brady..no sign of her Wigmore daughter!

I wonder if she married as Kershaw

There is a m on Irish Geneology for

RC Chapel of Michael and John, Sth Dublin

      Patrick Redmond 18 Bachelor Labourer
9 Murphy's Cottages, father Patrick ? Horse Driver

      Mary Kershaw Minor Spinster
5 ?Cuffe Street father Arthur Kershaw, Labourer

      Witnesses James and Elizabeth
      Kearney

Patrick and Mary are on the 1901. Mary's age 23 which gives dob 1878. However cant see a Mary Kershaw b Dublin around that time.

Mary dies following childbirth in 1909 aged 30.
The baby Mary dies Dec 1910

I thought she might have married as a Kershaw too and I also found that marriage.

          Another unsolved mystery!
