Signature help please

Can any one please tell me what the forename is please? The surname is Walsh and the person is a witness to a 1901 marriage in Bootle, Lancashire. The other witness is female so presumably this person is male.

Thanks so much folks. It's clear to me now. Just couldn't make it into anything. Obviously the old peepers need to have a break :-)
