  • 1881 Emma Chapman, abt 1878 Bracebridge, Lincoln

    I've fluffed my tree a bit after a remarriage and trying to hunt down a youngster born before the remarriage;
    FamilySearch has a listing but no household showing, just the young girl as shown below (I think mum is Eliza J born Suffolk and dad is George but can't find them in the 1881)

    1881 Census From Familysearch
    Emma Chapman Age 2
    Birthplace
    Bracebridge, Lincolnshire, England
    Page Number
    5
    Registration Number
    RG11
    Piece/Folio
    3244/137

    In 1891 she is recorded as Emma Goulson, dau of Job Goulson and Eliza J but the Goulson/Chapman marriage was August 1885.

        Looks good, I found the Chapman/Peek marriage and Eliza went on to marry Job Goulson, long time employee at the Asylum.

        Thanks for looking.
