  • missing bride

Free BMD has a marriage for Thomas Graham in Sept. qu. 1902 in Bury, with no bride's name.
There is also a suggestion that the district is wrong too.

Is there any way I can find out who the bride was without buying the certificate for this entry which I think is probably incorrect ?

    Here you go:

Lancashire Marriage indexes for the years: 1902

    Surname / Forename(s) / Surname / Forename(s) / Church/Register Office / Registers At

GRAHAM / Thomas / ASHWORTH / Sarah Alice / Heywood, St Luke / Rochdale

    FreeBMD:

    Marriages Sep 1902
    Ashworth Sarah Alice / Bury / 8c 932
    Graham Thomas / Bury / 8c 832

One of the entries in the index has been mistranscribed, but I can't tell which from looking at the images.

Have you found him in 1911 and with a wife?

Thank you so much Mary. She is not the person we are looking for.
I thought it was too good to be true that we'd found a marriage for "our" Thos. Graham.
