Have a death on the GRO but am trying to find it on Ancestry

GRO Reference: 1853 J Quarter in SAINT GEORGE (IN THE EAST) Volume 01C Page 306

I think it should be Mahoney

Looking on Freebmd at image of original handwritten index the spelling of the surname is definitely MARNEY, but of course that could have been misspelt by the person compiling the index, or by the registrar or by the person registering the death.
Ancestry seem to have some missing pages - their index images jump from Mann at bottom of one page to Marrion at top of next.

Thanks Judith ,we have a Patrick Mahoney born 1851 St Geo in the East , but nothing after that, I could not find a Patrick Marney born 1851 in the 1861 census which is likely, so think this is his death. a lot of them have been mistranscribed.

"mahoney" is pronounced "marney", so i think it's a phonetic spelling.
