  • Rees Family

Trying to start again after a few years rest.
Can anyone help with the following

My Great Great Great Grandfather was Thomas Rees Married to Anne (Lewis), as part of the family they had 2 daughters. Martha born 1835 and Mary born 1837. It is these 2 daughters that I am trying to trace forward. They both appeared as young girls in the 1841 Wales Census. In the 1851 Wales Census Martha was given as living with her mother Anne. But no sign of Mary, who could of course been working as a maid and living in. There seems no trace of Mary, and neither of then seem to appear as part of the family again.
I haven't found any record of them dying young or getting married.

They were both born in a place called Machen in Monmouthshire Wales, where the family stayed for a few more years. There were several brothers, all of whom I have found going forward.

    Any suggestions would be welcome.
