Informant's occupation - help please

Can somebody tell me what the first word of the occupation is please?
This is from an 1874 death certificate. The death took place in an asylum.
It looks like door maid to me but what on earth was a door maid?

I think it says Dom maid (domestic maid).

Could it be Dorm maid? I guess they had dormitories in a workhouse, supervised by staff who would likely be the ones 'present at the death'.
