Hi could someone please help me find her parents. She was born Bradford 1912 died Bradford 1983. I think her parents are James Miller, mother Sarah Elizabeth... I really need to know her mother's maiden name. Any help appreciated. Thank you in advance

Yes I just wanted to tie in all the information. Because it's an adoptive matter. The only 2 I could find was this 1 and the Madison mother 1. But as Madison married a William it has to be Ellis.

So are we agreeing that Ellis is the mothers maiden name

The 1911 has a family in Shipley with a James as a labourer on the Railways. His wife is Sarah Elizabeth and children of the marriage have a mother's maiden name of Ellis.

But difference in occupations for James from that of 1939. Date of birth slightly out only. Not 100% sure. Will look for a baptism of Violet

Just seen Rose Miller's marriage cert 1928. See father James is a Greengrocer.

Agree Ellis is mother's maiden name for Violet b 1912.

According to 1911 a Sarah Elizabeth Miller with children mmn Ellis was born Baildon, Yorks in 1873/4. Baildon is Wharfedale reg district.
