  • Dead ends with Essex lines

    Hello,

I know little of the origins of these individuals:

John Baynes - married Mary Rutland in Wimbish in 1740
John Butcher of Shalford and Elizabeth Bugsby, married in Great Yeldham in 1737
John Chapman and Mary Mountford (widow), married in Radwinter in 1746
John and Susan Gray, christening children in Great Sampford in the 1740s
Martha Bassett - married William Halls in Radwinter in 1778
Thomas and Elizabeth Halls, christening children in Radwinter in the 1740s
John Halls - married Mary Gray in 1772 in Great Sampford
John Jellis - married Mary Chapman in Radwinter in 1771
James Rogers and Sarah Manfield, married in Wethersfield in 1801
William Thake and Elizabeth Ling, married in Wimbish in 1754
Jesse Thorogood and Sarah Trigg, married in Shalford in 1777
James Willis of Great Bardfield, who married Jane Butcher in Shalford in 1770
George Willis of Wethersfield and Elizabeth Rogers, who married in Shalford in 1770

    I'd appreciate any help!

    Adam

Have you been using seax? It's the essex county records office website. The parish registers and wills are online to search. Subscriptions are cheap, you can get them for a day, week, month, year etc
