  • FMP lookup please

On Ancestry I found a record for
William John Bradburn b1900 in Liverpool
    Age 17
    RAF Airmen Records
    Service Number 161096

I followed the link to National Archives who said the record was on FMP which I do not have.

I am not sure if this is my William. Would someone look and see what details are given for him please

    Regards
    Ann

The one I have found was born 27 June in Everton and was a press telegraphist, mother called Jane.
I am expecting visitors so if I disappear before giving more info please don't think I have forgotten.

I am sorry if I am being a bit vague but
            1. The record on Ancestry said RAF with the his number 161096
            2. Yes there are records to show him in the merchant navy
As I cannot see any documents I do not understand whether he was RAF or Merchant Navy.
Can someone explain please, as I am being a dim Oldie
            Regards
            Ann
