Hello Everyone.
I am well and truly stuck with a family in my tree and wonder if anyone can assist?
One Captain Russell England, 1833-1924, married an ancestral cousin Alice Ainsworth, of Smithills, and begat an army.
His father, William Henry England, * c 1800 - + 1859 in Milan, was a Church of England minister at Ellesborough, Bucks from 1832. William Henry hailed from London and married there, 20/8/1827 at St Andrew's Holborn, an Elizabeth PREVOST ( quite a well-known surname in Huguenot circles). I have found the parents of William Henry, but am stumped with those of Eli(s)zabeth Prevost. There is no mention on the wedding licence of any of her relations, except that she was of that parish. Can anyone suggest other avenues? All help gratefully received.
