  • Marchant Taylor / Emma Read.

Marchant married Emma during 1887. They had five siblings, Annie, Edith, Louie, Clara, Sylvia and Rose.

I'm trying to locate a present day ancestor to pass on a wedding photograph album. The family resided in the area of Bethnal Green.

Can only see two marriages for any Marchant Taylor and both were in the 1840s. Might he have married in Scotland? You say they had five siblings but not whose siblings were whose?

Ah, right, those girl's names are Marchant and Emma's daughters, not their siblings!

          Sylvia was born in 1901.

Still not finding a marriage though, I checked Scotland too. Where did you get the marriage year from, please?

Found the marriage in 1906, he is mistranscribed as March Taylor.

                Val

Nope! I expect the 1887 marriage information was guessed at from the birth of the first child.

shame they were all girls, as boys would still have the same surname, and probably easier to trace.

London Chest Hospital entrance is located in Bonner Road. The rear of the hospital is very close to Approach Rd.

I'm not being pedantic just trying to clarify the mystery.
