    FMP (findmypast.co.uk) stated in their latest newsletter they have added mother's maiden names to the england and wales birth index 1837-1910 (post 1910 they are already included).

          No, they didn't. It sounded like they had done it, but maybe it certain districts and years.

            All the ones I have looked at have the mmn.

            Edit - mine are Ipswich and Mildenhall Suffolk but not all Suffolk districts have mmn. Must be doing them gradually

              Ah, that's probably right; I looked at a Staffordshire birth, and the mmn wasn't there.

                FreeBMD are doing the age at death thing as well, noticed this yesterday. [can't say as I'd noticed this before]
