  • Studley, Warwickshire

The village of Studley in Warwickshire is unusual in that 60% of the population in the last census were born locally. Studley's Local History Group are compiling a record of 'who-lived-where-when' from documents in their archives and local family knowledge/intelligence. With so much standard information now available on-line, it is to the smaller local history groups and projects that family historians must turn, to fill in the gaps, knock down those brick walls and put flesh on the bones of their ancestors: we hope to help support that with this project.

If anyone would like to contribute to this work then please either post here, send me a private forum message - or contact me through the Studley Heritage Face Book page (www.facebook.com/Studley-Heritage-199473473780535/).

Don't forget that BMD certificates, as well as club memberships, sale particulars, insurance documents and household bills all provide evidence of residential addresses and those all important dates.
