There is no such site that will give an accurate figure over anything over about 40 or 50 years as there are so many variables. You many as well stick a pin in a page full of figures.

Any results will vary so much (hundreds of pounds and in some cases thousands of pounds) as to be of no use at all.

I use the rule of thumb - how many houses could they have bought with the money at the time? How many years wages did it represent for an ag ab or a housemaid? Rough, but gives you some idea of their comparable wealth.

Doing a tree for a friend and found a will in 1926. Will give her a guestimate figure lol
