I found an entry in the deaths duties index on fmp in 1819 for john buckenham, testator amelia buckenham of southminster, essex.
I have looked on seax, The essex records office site, i have looked at a norfolk council site with wills on it, the prerogative court of canterbury and london probate records on ancestry.......all to no avail. I can't find a will or administration. There was a will of a john buckenham 1819, glazier and plumber of norwich, which appears in some of these databases, but there is no amelia on the paperwork.
Is it possible to pay death duties on an estate without an administration at the least?
