    Hi

    I have a marriage and im not sure what this says or if its a place. "Jean Baudain fils Edouard de herusse" what does the de herusse mean? This is for a Jersey baptism but i cant find anywhere called herusse. the "ss" is one of those ones that looks like a p

      Ah so the p looking like a p is actually a P! Thanks so much, don't suppose you know what it means when it says "assiste de Jean Baudains jr" as part of the godparents. The only reason why I ask is that the father is listed as Jean Baudains sr and Jean sr is only 20 at the time of his sons baptism so Jean Jr can't be the brother of the child being baptised!
