According to Death reg. Grace Marian Vance was 71 when she died in 1962 giving an approx dob of 1891. There are 2 Grace Marion English born around then - one in Dec Q 1891 in Suffolk and one in Jan 1891 in South Stoneham in Hampshire. The one born in Suffolk is a domestic in 1911, but the one born in Hampshire is a 20-year old Student, which would fit better with being at University.

1911 for Grace born in Hampshire: http://interactive.ancestry.co.uk/23...&usePUBJs=true

Both her parents are Irish born - maybe that is her link to Ireland?
