FTM14 - query about merging

Advice please? I have a small separate FTM14 Family Tree that I'd like to merge into my main Family Tree file, but I haven't found a way of doing so, other than manually entering the data again into the main file. I have not uploaded the Family Tree to Ancestry, as I'm reluctant to do so. Does anyone know if it's possibly to merge the smaller file into the main file?
