  • Irish records?

    Hi all!

Now starting on a different side of the family.
I think the parent's or one of them for Doreen Byrne is Irish and as I can't find a marriage on Ancestry wondering what is out there for Irish records?

    TIA

    Tessie

Good time to start looking! Indexes for Irish Civ Reg, and many full Irish Civ Reg records just came online:
This Irish Government supported, official web site, is dedicated to helping you in your search for records of family history for past generations.

Familysearch.org also has many fully transcribed early Irish Civ Records for Marriage and Births

BMD Civ Reg started in Ireland in 1864. Protestant marriages were registered beginning in 184? - tho most of the marriages were Church of Ireland

    Happy hunting!
