got a real quandary now

dont know if any of you remember the headstone found for me for Reginald Slater as I am really confused now
says
Reginald Slater 1910-1987
loving father of
Andrew and Kathryn
Beloved Husband of Judith Fagan
and the late
Gwendoline Litson

now he was married to Gwendoline who is with him on the electoral rolls till about 1972 but not found her death

I have not found a marriage for reginald and Judith or the childrens births under Slater or Fagan or them together anywhere

Now have found a headstone for a Judith Suzanne Slater
Judith Suzanne Slater.JPG
which is really odd as says she is the mother of Andrew and Kathleen
but husband is William McCarthy Slater
Seems to much of a coincidence to not be the right Judith or am I just daft

Daughter's name isn't the same in each case, Val, and Kathryn is a more unusual spelling than Katherine/Catherine.

Do we know for sure that Litson was Gwendoline's maiden surname rather than a second forename and ditto for Judith?

Thanks for responding Janet, yes Litson was her maiden name she was actually Edith Annie Gwendoline Litson, no idea about Judith I only have her name on Reginald's Headstone never heard of her or those children before that? I am almost sure they are Judiths but not Reginalds children.
