Oh dear, your Kilby are quite the bad boys aren't they. Wallace Vincent Kilby, aka Clement Wallace Kilby aka Vincent Kilby tried on 18 jul 1908 and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment with hard labour on 23 Oct 1908. Subsequent address and occupation: Leicester, Clerk.

    Still looking for 1911

still a few more siblings to research ...

not able to find Vincent in 1911 yet ... I've tried his real name, aliases, initials, variations of his surname etc., but still not found him

sentenced to 12 months imprisonment with hard labour on 23 Oct 1908
based on his (last known) sentence, he wasn't incarcerated!

thanks very much Elaine and Sylvia ...

I found his marriages, 1939 Register and burial info too, I also found two entries in Kelly's Directories 1925 + 1928, he had a shop at 24 Chandos Street, Leicester ... not established what sort of shop (yet).

However, still haven't tracked him down in 1911.

Just taken another look at the 1925 directory and Mrs V W Kilby listed as a dressmaker at 24 Chandos Street ... no indication what Vincent's trade was though.

I just checked and he wasn't at 24 Chandos Street in 1911, it was Frank Dilks and family.
