Hi
I offered to help a relative find out about her grandfather and his brother in WW1. They were in the same tank when her granddad's brother was killed but she has no further information. I have never ventured into researching the military exploits of my relatives so it is all a bit confusing to me. I spent a fair part of this weekend looking at websites and I am none the wiser, so thought I would call in the experts! (I know that there are specialist websites so perhaps someone can point me in the right direction please).
Anyway, I have found his details on the CWGC:
OUSELEY, J E
Rank: Lance Corporal
Service No: 200926
Date of Death: 09/10/1917
Regiment/Service: Tank Corps
"D" Bn.
Grave Reference: VIII. G. 4.
Cemetery: DOZINGHEM MILITARY CEMETERY
I also found a document saying "Royal Fusiliers". Can anyone help please?!
