    Thanks for that info.

    Quite a few of mine ancestors were on the railway but haven't found them dying during the war. Going to have a good look now

      This is a really useful database. I came across it a while ago whilst researching a great uncle (former railway worker) who died in WW1. From the database I learned that there was a photo of him in the Great Eastern Railway Staff Magazine. I emailed the railway society & for a very modest donation received a copy of the photo the same day! Well worth a look for those with railway ancestors!
