  • Buying the 1939 Register.

I have a 'contact' who says he has bought this Register.........................is this possible and at what cost?

He might have bought one image or a few images from the register but he has not bought the entire register
Findmypast have a digital version on it online.
    Cheers
    Guy

PS He might have bought a copy of the Electoral Register for 1939 for a district but that is not the same as the 1939 national Registration which is what is now generally called the 1939 register

Considering the 1939 was leased (not sold) to FMP for £20 million, I doubt if they have now sold it on to him!

Perhaps he has bought one of the images in book/framed print format from the FMP gift shop, as advertised in one of their circulating mails.

He bought an entry I expect. Like some people say "I bought the 1911" - they mean they bought an entry.
