The above is my 7th GGF. I have gone further back quite a bit further but suspect it is incorrect!
The above chap's wife is unknown. He has one child Joseph b 1717 who married a Sarah Sharrett in 29 December 1735.
I have Thomas b 1687 -d1737 as the father of Joseph b 1717.
The problem is Thomas Forster's (b1687) father ...........who is he?
I think he may/and, more likely, may not be, Thomas b 1659 at Adderstone Hall, Lucker, Northumberland - he is an MP and Sherriff of Northumberland - his wife is a Frances Forster b1666 Bamburgh Castle - d1697 Westminster, London (her single name was apparently also Forster HER parents are unknown ). They had 3 sons and one daughter, the oldest son was eventually General Thomas Forster b1681 Bamburgh Castle - d1737 in France (in exile).
It goes back in the same vein ..........I feel I must have gone wrong somewhere and the above are not my line.
Can anyone help me please - my lot are peasants I am sure, not gentry! Bewildered! Sue
