Hi,
I am trying to trace a missing ancestor, namely MARY ANN LIDDY.
She was born on 4/6/1883 in Belfast. Her father was George Liddy and her mother was Margaret (Anderson) Liddy.
She had a sister Margaret(sometimes Maggie) and a brother George.
She appears on the 1901 census of Ireland living with her uncle at house 99, North Queen Street, Belfast. Her mother was dead by this stage and her father had re-married and had a second family.
She does not appear on the 1911 census of Ireland as Mary Ann Liddy. I have searched extensively, but can find no record her marrying or dying in Northern Ireland between the years of 1901 and 1911.
Therefore I have to assume that she has moved to GB or further afield to USA, Canada etc.
Any help in finding a record of her leaving Ireland or arriving elsewhere would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Paul.
