How do you send an image to someone from Ancestry?

I have got the record up, chosen the email option and sent it but the person is not getting it, so I tried sending it to myself with no luck

Just tried it myself and received the email I sent myself. However the email does not contain the image itself or an attachment but rather a link to the imagw which can be clicked to open a ancestry apge with the image on it (plus the new Ancestry biography narrative of the person).

Perhaps a better way to send the image is to open the image in Ancestry, then right click it and selct copy. Back in you email client, just right click in you nre message and click paste. A copy of the image should now be part of the email.

Save it to your computer (any file in "my pictures" - I always have a file entitled "working" for this) then do your e-mail and send the image as an attachment.
