    Hi,

please can anyone help me with what the palce name is - box on the right. I know the rest reads "16, Mary, Thomas Jackson Lucy foley, James & Anne ? but cant make out the end box. The piece has been taken from "Ireland, Select Catholic Birth and Baptism Registers, 1763-1912 for Mary Jackson, Carlow, Rathvilly, 1842-1887 BUT this doesn't mean where she lived. She later married in Kilmore county down. thanks

Can you see what places the rest are on the page? What is the date and place of the marriage? At least knowing the county might help.

Perhaps looking on the Griffiths valuation might help if you can find someone with the right surname living in a place with a similar sort of name.

Ireland is terrible especially for different spellings of places. Also it could be the name of a farm?
