        Could be Ford Street - certainly exists in the Tower Hamlets area as I've come across it in my own research.

          Reckon that is a better interpretation Elaine. That word has capital F all over it.

              Vallee, who do you have living at 2 Victoria Cottages as I have ancestors that lived , I actually had a 2nd great grandmother who died at a 2 Victoria Cottages in 1885 but don't have confirmation of where the cottages were, you have Tower Hamlets and I have possibly West Ham and as they are pretty close together wondered if it's the same address. My 2nd great grandmother was Louisa Margaret Ann Rose, nee Kelly, who married Richard James Barton Rose.

                think you wil find PDennis mine is Victory Cottages and there is or was Victoria Cottages in West Ham, shame as it would have been nice to be related
