Am trying to tie up a few loose ends.
My g.g.father Nathan Gould b 1838 was in the Royal Marines - and I have his papers from TNA.
He had a brother, William (or William Horne) Gould, baptised 23 Sept 1845 in North Littleton, Worcs, son of Samuel and Zillah Gould who is hard to find after the 1861 census. There's a William Gould who's a private in the Royal Marines on the 1871 census (No. 14 on the page), although the age is a couple of years out, and I wondered if he followed his brother into the Marines.
Then I've just found this
but it's not yet been digitised. I wouldn't mind paying for it if I knew it was the chap I'm after, though.
Is anyone going to TNA who would be prepared to look at it for me and let me know what they think about it matching my g.g.uncle.
Thanks
STG
