Trying to find the whereabouts of the Steen family

in 1911 and thereafter.

Archibald born c1877 (occ: Joiner) married Mary born 1879 Paisley, Scotland in Dec 1902

On 8/4/1911 Archd departed from Glasgow to Canada - Mary doesn't appear to be travelling with him.
In 1901 Mary was living with her mother, stepfather, half-siblings and grandmther in Paisley.

The 1911 census was taken on 2/4/1911, so presume he/they will appear on it - can anyone find them please?

As Archd left for Canada in 1911 I'm assuming that Mary followed him (she died there in 1960s) - can anyone please find her departure to join him?

Any other info abt their life (children etc) in Canada also appreciated.

This could be Archibald's Canadian Attestation papers 23 Aug 1916.
If this is the correct one then his wife Mary is still in Paisley living 96 Neilston St, Paisley, Scotland
His date of birth 4th Nov 1870 and occ carpenter. Previous Army Service 4 yrs with Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders.

Present address (1916) 693 King street West, Toronto.

... on their marriage cert 1902 it looks like Archd's age is 25 = born 1877

they were both living on this street when they married in 1902

presumably their children went to Canada too ??

I cannot find any of the children emigrating.Probably that's why she came back to scotland.

Perhaps someone else could find their emigration details for 1919.
I have found Archibald returning in 1919 from the war with other army personnel but the family is not with them as it is obviously a troop ship.
