I edited at the same time you posted. Agree it looks like a S or I suppose it could be an L. My previous suggestion of Servant is possibly not right as Female Servants are shown just as FS. Seamer makes sense if the local industry is textile based.Judith passed away in October 2018

The first letter of Elizabeth's occupation is not the same, I too think it as an S

It looks to me as if their occupations have been entered and then crossed out. There are a few others on the page similar. It must have been tricky compiling the list from the workhouse list. What do you think the P means against each one? I thought Prisoner at first but obviously not if its the workhouse.
