How to open a folder on hard drive

I just installed my new camera stuff and then noticed it said open a new folder on the hard drive before installing it and save it to that? How do you open a folder on the hard drive and is it possible for me to send the installed stuff to it thanks

Hi Val, I am not sure that you can, if you double click it, it will probably has you which program you wish to open it with and then it gets a bit tricky, my advice would be reinstall the camera software and make sure you know where you are putting it.

Right Click on the desktop and select New/Folder, then give it a name.

Wendy is that it ? I was imagining you had to click on a disc somewhere, why didn't it just say open a new folder ? thanks very much feel a right idiot now
