  • Alison Davidson....where is she after 1901.

She was born in Selkirk Scotland about 1851...........to Robert and Catherine Davidson.

I have found her in all census including 1901 still living unmarried at 9 Curror Street Selkirk Scotland.

    Then she seems to disappear.

    Any ideas?

I am still looking for my family on 1851, got them on every other census all the same surrounding streets in London

Davidson is open to many different spellings though, I expect you've tried al that?

On the 1911 census she is still living on Curor Street, listed as Head of household. Also living there is a niece Mary Davidson aged 25, born Selkirk.

are you using FMP or Ancestry? [I think that you can only search the 1911 census on FMP]

Looking at searching each census individually .............. it looks as though ancestry does not have the 1911 Scotland census ..................

No the 1911 is on Scotlandspeople where you need to buy credits to search and see records. They don't seem to have the individual household schedules on that just the Enumerators sheets which look like all the other census years.
It might also be on FMP
