Hi,
In my tree I have William Raybould born 1829 in Brierley Hill, Staffs. He was the son of Richard Raybould & Mary Stevens. I have a marriage (from FreeReg) for him on the 7th February 1848 at St Edmund, Dudley, Staffs to Rachael Cook. The transcript of the marriage doesn't give any ages but does give the father's names and Rachael was the daughter of Edward Cook, Labourer. After this, I don't know what happened to Rachael. I have found neither on the 1851 census.
I have; however, found a second marriage for William Raybould on the 22nd November 1852 at St George, Wolverhampton to Mary Ann Roberts. Image is on FMP. William is calling himself a bachelor. I have William and his 2nd wife on census after.
I haven't yet found a death for Rachael which brings the possibility that William is a bigamist.
Can anyone find either of them on the 51 census and/or a death for Rachael?
Many thanks in advance.
