How to make Flashplayer the default

Think I know whats wrong but after googling cannot work out how to do it,I have VLC installed and that seems to be the default ,anybody know how to make Flash the default thanks

Right click on a video choose Open with and then Choose Default Player and select the one you want.

Thanks Wendy but I'm not trying to view a video as such cards people have sent me on Jackie lawson,I cannot do anything as it tells me to install flash ,but I do have it.

Doesn't matter whaat you want to watch, just do as I stated above with any video etc and it will be set as default.

I found I had ActiveX checked so unchecked it and now its fine thanks for helping
